Sea Mee Charters operates out of the lower Chesapeake Bay and is one of Virginia's premier charter boats. Trips run year-round and accommodate anglers of all ages and skill levels!

Capt. Shawn aims to tailor every trip to your needs, so let him know what you're after! Depending on the trip & species, you'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, sight casting & jigging.
You're looking at 3 to 10-hour trips, where you'll usually go after the likes of Cobia, Spadefish, Flounder, Sea Bass, Mahi Mahi, & Tautog, depending on the weather & time of year.

About your trip on the Sea Mee
Your adventure beings on board a 29' Downeaster boat that can fit a max of 6 anglers. The boat is fitted with all the USCG certified safety equipment as well as all of the state of the art electronics including Garmin charts, Garmin radar, Garmin sonar & fusion radio. All the necessary fishing gear is included, fishing rods, bait, tackle, & any other related gear. Fish will be cleaned & bagged for you upon arrival to the dock at the end of the trip. No need to worry about fishing licences, as they will be provided & handled by the charter. Youre welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip. Here to help you with anything you need, the first mate will be on hand during the trip. Leaving a tip for a job well done is much appreciated! This is a kid friendly charter, so you're welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure!

Captain Shawn Shapiro - 35 years old, owner & operator off Sea Mee sport fishing - a life long fisherman, acquiring my USCG 100 ton masters captains license at the age of 20. I have an extensive knowledge of the Chesapeake Bay & coast of Virginia Beach. I have a great amount of experience & am considered one of the best fisherman in my area. Growing up on local commercial & charter fishing boats, put me in the industry since I was 15, a passion I have grown to love & thrive in. I am considered to be laid back, easy going & well mannered. I always put my customers first & am always sure to be accommodating to everyone's request assuring that you have the best time possible! I have won many tournaments in the course of my career.
